these are good for homework practice so if the lesson has been understood and they just need practice this is nice not long enough in my opinion and black and white also there are no mini lessons or examples in most pages so I wasn't blown away but it but the worksheets have about 15 problems each so its a good amount and answer keys are included there are others at about the same price range in color and 3x more pages with lessons I bought Math Skills: Grade 4 (Flash Kids Harcourt Family Learning) I loved that one and also kumon but this is ok I think the stickers are cute and a good touch though.

Jeffrey M. Wooldridge is University Distinguished Professor of Economics at Michigan State University, where he has taught since 1991. From 1986 to 1991, he was an assistant professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his bachelor of arts, with majors in computer science and economics, from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1982, and received his doctorate in economics in 1986 from the University of California, San Diego. He has published more than 60 articles in internationally recognized journals, as well as several book chapters. He is also the author of Econometric Analysis of Cross Section and Panel Data, second edition. His awards include an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, the Plura Scripsit award from Econometric Theory, the Sir Richard Stone prize from the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and three graduate teacher-of-the-year awards from MIT. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and of the Journal of Econometrics. Review is for eBook version for Kindle. Datasets associated with this book or any other accompanied materials that are referenced from the text are not "freely available". For some materials, the accompanying website mentions "access code" which is supposed to be printed somewhere on back page (possibly in printed version), but at least in the eBook version there is no code! Both in the description here and within eTextbook inside, there is warning that " Media content referenced within the product description or the product text may not be available in the ebook ", which I overlooked. Better to buy printed version of this title in any cases. Also note that eBook version for Kindle is not actually compatible with all kindle readers (read the description carefully before buying).

I read three undergraduate textbooks on Econometrics, but in my opinion, this book is the best. Especially, the appendices is very helpful for understanding the concept properly. Those who intend to read the book, I recommend first reading the appendices very carefully, such as by solving all the questions. After that, you will be able to understand the content properly.

Excellent textbook. The panel data chapters are the best in any introductory text. The cross-sectional chapters are very good as well. The coverage of time series topics is adequate, but is clearly the weak spot. The best part is actually the last chapter on carrying out an empirical project - you rarely find something this anywhere, let alone an introductory text.

Best book you'll ever buy! It is amazing how Woodridge manages to make this material digestible.

Please note that this is an international edition of the textbook. This was not very clear from the descriptions on Amazon. At this point my classes have begun and I don’t have time to return it. I’m hoping it’s not that different but we will see. Be warned. I will say though the book arrived on time and in pristine condition, which is why I rated 3 stars.

It came in hard cover, much to my surprise. It is a great textbook for multivariate statistics and had no writing or damage to the book itself. I am very pleased.

Never tempering her message, Williams does a delightful job of walking the reader through the well-researched reality of what would happen if sharks were removed from the delicate ocean ecosystem. She adeptly places the shark in our evolutionary timeline (spoiler: they've been around a VERY long time) and then proceeds with a cause-and-effect journey that should easily leave your head spinning. Who realized just how important sharks truly are to life on planet Earth?!This is a great book for expanding a child's scientific vocabulary (complete with a Glossary in the back) and for clearly and concisely explaining to everyone the true value of creatures of sea and land, from large to small. There are even some great tips on what you can do today to start turning the tide on shark endangerment. I can't recommend this book enough as a must-have addition to any child's library (and to any personal or public library, as well)!

This book has it all: a great message about caring for our oceans, a positive message about sharks (something I wish I'd read more about as a kid), beautiful and creative illustrations that kids will love, and best of all - scientifically accurate! Well researched and well presented for little kids and big kids - easy to get lost in the pictures for little kids, easy information for bigger kids to latch on to and learn. This book will be the inspiration of future marine biologists. You'll do a service to your kids or classroom if you introduce them to this book!

I went straight to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch list in the authors notes, "how you can help save sharks."
