book is smaller than the palm of my hand - not what I expected. maybe I didn't read the description well enough - however if you are looking for a pocket size book that is as thick as a 3 inch binder this is the book for you!

Nice little assortment of shots, though it does seem to miss some common ones.

I have bartending books that have all sorts of drinks. They are great for all sorts of drinks but when my guests start calling for shots at my home bar it is rather difficult to flip through to find shots, much less good shots.This book helps alleviate that problem! This book may have good information, but several flaws limit it's utility. 1. No table of contents or index. Hence the reader has to page through to find topics of interest. 2. In the first few pages the author references a VBAccess Exercise Folder, but doesn't provide any information about where to find the folder. Thus the reader can't actually do the exercises in the book. 3. Every letter 'q' in the book is shown as a small square rather than a letter. This is an annoyance, but is distracting. The author promotes his other books, which include titles on diet, exercise, investing, body water balance (?) and farm and rural business. A Renaissance man, I suppose.

Not useful without practice files which are not available.

I am currently buying books to augment my son's first grade history and I LOVE this one. It is factual without being overly graphic and depicts her whole life, thus giving scope of all Helen Keller overcame. I am looking forward to introducing him to Braille and sign language as mention in the biography. Excellent depiction of an amazing woman and the people who helped her.

Helen Keller's story inspired me as a young girl. I am so glad I can now share this story with my son. My son is in fourth grade, but if your child reads very well this book could definitely be read by younger readers. This story is also a great way to teach children about accepting others, as well as overcoming the various limitations that life puts on us.

This book series is perfect for my students! I especially like the fact that there are quite a few interesting, educational options in this series, and not just narrative options.

After watching a cartoon on Helen Keller, my daughter (2nd grade) was intrigued by the story of Helen Keller. So I purchased this book for her. She finished it in a matter of minutes, but she did enjoy the read and pictures. Great starter book.

I purchased this as a gift for my niece and she loves it!!! :)

Bought as a Xmas present to add to 24 other books, as a count down to Xmas advent read- a - thon! The books were purchased for a 7 year old girl and her 4 year old brother. They read one book a night until Xmas! The book is well written, great pictures, and the kids could read the book themselves! Price made it easy to add to the other 24 books!
